Terms and Conditions
1. Appointments
An appointment is only considered confirmed once the agreed deposit has been received.
The deposit secures your date exclusively for you and covers part of the time dedicated to consultation, planning, design preparation, and tattoo preparation.
2. Deposit
A deposit is required for every appointment.
The deposit:
Will be deducted from the final tattoo price.
Is non-refundable.
Guarantees that the reserved time is exclusively available for your session.
3. Cancellations and Appointment Changes
We understand that unexpected situations can occur. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please inform us as soon as possible.
Changes made at least 48 hours before the appointment may be rescheduled without losing the deposit.
Cancellations within 48 hours or failure to attend without prior notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.
A new deposit will be required to book a new appointment.
This policy ensures that every client’s reserved time is respected and that appointments can be managed professionally.
4. Late Arrivals
We kindly ask you to arrive on time.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your session may need to be shortened or cancelled depending on the available time.
If the tattoo cannot be completed due to the delay, the deposit will not be refunded.
5. Custom Designs
Every tattoo is personally designed for each client unless agreed otherwise beforehand.
Before starting the tattoo session, you will have the opportunity to review the design and discuss small adjustments.
If you decide to completely change the original concept after the design process has started, a new appointment may be required. Additional preparation costs may apply depending on the work already completed.
6. Client Health
Before your tattoo session, please inform us if any of the following apply:
You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
You take blood-thinning medication.
You have diabetes.
You have epilepsy.
You have known allergies.
You have an infectious condition.
You are undergoing medical treatment that may affect the healing process.
Failing to provide important medical information may create health risks and affect the final result of your tattoo.
7. Minimum Age
Yuzo Tattoo only performs tattoos on clients who meet the legal age requirements according to Dutch law.
A valid identification document may be requested before the session.
8. Hygiene and Safety
Client safety is always our highest priority.
Therefore:
Only sterile, single-use needles are used.
All disposable materials are used only once.
Professional and approved tattoo inks are used.
All surfaces and equipment are carefully cleaned and disinfected before and after every session.
Hygiene guidelines established by the Dutch health authorities (GGD) are followed.
9. Right to Refuse a Tattoo
Yuzo Tattoo reserves the right to refuse a tattoo if the design:
Is offensive, discriminatory, or harmful.
Promotes violence or illegal activities.
Violates copyright or intellectual property rights.
Could damage the professional reputation of the studio.
Cannot be performed with the quality and care that every client deserves.
10. Payments
The remaining balance must be paid in full after the tattoo session.
The final price may vary depending on:
Size.
Complexity.
Estimated working time.
Placement on the body.
Possible changes during the process.
11. Aftercare
After completing your tattoo session, you will receive clear aftercare instructions.
The final result depends not only on the quality of the tattoo work but also on proper care during the healing process.
Problems caused by incorrect or insufficient aftercare are not the responsibility of Yuzo Tattoo.
12. Touch-Ups
In some cases, a small touch-up may be needed after the tattoo has fully healed.
A touch-up may be provided free of charge when:
The healing process has been normal.
All aftercare instructions have been properly followed.
The tattoo is checked within the period indicated by the studio.
Damage caused by sun exposure, injuries, infections, or incorrect aftercare is not covered.
13. Liability
Every skin type and body reacts differently.
Yuzo Tattoo is not responsible for:
Previously unknown allergic reactions.
An unusual healing process.
Fading caused by insufficient aftercare.
Medical conditions that were not disclosed beforehand.
Issues caused by not following aftercare instructions.
14. Intellectual Property
All designs created by Yuzo Tattoo remain the intellectual property of the artist.
It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, or have the designs tattooed by another artist without explicit permission.
15. Photography
After completing your tattoo, photographs of the final result may be taken for use on:
The website.
Social media.
Professional portfolio.
If you do not want your tattoo to be photographed or published, please inform us before the session begins.
Privacy Policy
16. Personal Data
Yuzo Tattoo processes personal information only for:
Managing appointments.
Communicating with clients.
Fulfilling administrative and legal obligations.
Personal data will never be sold or shared with third parties unless legally required.
You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
